What causes one to break their silence?

Text and performance, woven from writing from my own experiences, public reports submitted to Smell PGH, an app used to document and report air quality, and comments responding to a selfie I posted on social media, as well as various news sources.

First performed at Highline Art, New York, May 16, 2018, in response to John Cage score 4’33”.
